Carthage Civic League Board Elections – March Meeting The Carthage Civic League will hold its annual Board elections during our March monthly meeting on Monday, March 16, 2026. We’ll be voting on officer positions—President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary—as well as two Trustee seats. If you’re interested in serving on the Board or would like to learn more about what’s involved, we’d love to hear from you! Please contact the Election Committee at civicleague@carthageohio.com to share your interest or ask questions. Getting involved is a great way to help shape the future of Carthage and support the work of the Civic League. Carthage Commons Update We're excited to announce that the architectural drawings for Carthage Commons are almost done, paving the way for a spring construction commencement. This will keep us on track to complete phase I well before the December deadline. The transformational project will activate vacant land into community greenspace, with a playground, stage, and meeting space coming with phase II in the future! We at the Civic League have advocated for good lighting, thoughtful design, and accessible amenities that we believe will benefit the community greatly. We are proud to partner with Envisage Architecture, Kaiker Construction, and HomeBase Cincinnati (all local firms) to get this long anticipated project to completion. The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing. Get involved with the Carthage Community Garden.The easy-going gardeners meet twice a week in the evening to plant, water, harvest, and socialize.We are planning our growing season and celebrating the coming of spring soon. To get involved with this enthusiastic group, call 513-746-1440 and leave contact information. You will receive a reply text message with the meeting details. Get together for the COMMON GOOD A Cleanup is scheduled for April 11th with a rain date of April 18th. Let’s spring clean the Neighborhood! The “Holiday House” has been a Cincinnati destination for holiday cheer for many years, and we now wish you a wonderful retirement.
